The character was fine, but her performance is all one note. ![]() I also think that Cary Lowell was pretty wooden in her portrayal. He's like the Jar Jar Binks of the movie, although he eats up significantly less screen time. ![]() For one, Wayne Newton is completely unnecessary and out of place. I think there were a few minor bits that made the movie less than excellent. I thought this movie was a step in the right direction, but then the series went into hibernation. Krest: This is how Sanchez rewards loyalty. Friendship beats money, roughly-speaking. Bond trumps Sanchez's disloyalty with his own sense of authentic loyalty, then. That lighter (Leiter?) is a symbol of Bond's mission, and loyalty to his friend, Felix. This burning question, and so Bond uses the moment to kill him, to literally burn him up with lighter. You? He’d never been there but always had wanted to. But on a better note, I did have some good conversation with him about the joys of Chik-fil-A, inspired by the t-shirt I opted to wear for that portion of the day. He was charging $30 for the autograph / photo op but I somehow only paid $20…and I was even more glad that I got the deal after I later realized that he had signed the photo of The Goonies with his character name from License to Kill. Still I opted to go with The Goonies connection, and so that’s the photo that I purchased from him to have signed. He was also in a lot of TV dramas throughout the 1980’s, and has starred in quite a few other films I’ve seen: Die Hard, Cops and Robbersons, and Showgirls, for example. But I couldn’t help but be more fascinated by the fact that he had been one of the Fratelli brothers who plagued the kids at every turn as the worked to find the hidden treasure in The Goonies. That’s also why he was present at the Hollywood Show on Janu– as part of the James Bond reunion. I realize that Robert Davi’s most notable role was that of drug lord Franz Sanchez in one of the lead roles in the Timothy Dalton James Bond film License to Kill. ![]()
